Wood Work is Hard Work

Student Work: Garry P, 11th grade, Media Communications Major

Nameplate made from unused flooring

Gary's Grind: Ever since I was a kid, fixing and art was my goal, all my family does it. When I became older, I learned to fix walls, outlets & plugs, and other home-related jobs. I also learned to do flooring most recently. I was taught how to fix all these house issues from my stepfather and my uncles at the age of 10. I learned I could make art out of the unused flooring. I came to Performing Arts to learn about media. Now, I am a very artistic person who can fix anything.
