Arts on the Wire Creative Writing Contest Goes Live

The first annual Arts on the Wire Creative Writing Contest is live and open to all high school Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts students. Contest poster was designed by Media Communications major, Natalie Anderson.


All pieces will be posted on Arts on the Wire and the judge will be Ms. Farinacci.


Winner and runner up will receive a printed copy of their piece and a certificate. Winner will also win cash prize. Fiction and non-fiction pieces must be under 1000 words, poetry under 40 lines.


The theme for the submissions is Women's History: Past, Present and Future.


Deadline for all entries are March 24th, 2023. They can be emailed to aglorioso@buffaloschools.org or via Schoology. Please include name, title of piece, homeroom.
